Easy Healthy Lunch (or Breakfast)

I just found my new favorite lunch and it was SO easy to put together.

Easy Healthy Lunch

I spread a little bit of almond butter on a bagel, sliced some strawberries to add on top and threw in some Bear Naked chocolate granola. YUM! I put my two pieces of bagel together like an actual sandwich when I ate it, but I wanted to photograph it like this so you could see what it looks like.

The sandwich was delicious! The chocolate and almond butter really complement one another and the strawberries add a little extra flavor. If you’re looking for a lower calorie version of this sandwich, you could put it on a sandwich thin. The ones I like are only 100 calories. You could also put it on an english muffin or a slice of whole wheat bread.

It was a very busy Saturday for me. Brian and I went grocery shopping. I made a meal plan before we left and I plan to prep everything tomorrow. You should see quite a few new recipes popping up here.

After grocery shopping, Brian, my dad, my cousin and I helped move some of my other cousin’s furniture to her new apartment.

Packed car

My car was packed! It didn’t take long to unload everything and we were done by noon. That’s when I ate my new favorite sandwich 🙂 . After that, Brian and I ran some errands that included going to Reebok to exchange my sneakers for a smaller size and heading to home depot to buy a new propane tank for our grill.

I squeezed in a workout (after errands) that included a 2.5 mile run and this awesome total body routine.

Total body workout

My legs were shaking by the end of it. I found this workout on Pinterest. Unfortunately, I don’t know where it originally came from so I can’t give any much deserved credit to whoever designed it.

My Reebok Skyscape shoes were perfect for this workout and I was very impressed with my first go with them.

Dinner tonight was on the grill 🙂 . Even though it was raining, Brian braved the weather to make chicken wings and grilled asparagus. So freakin good!
